Medford Commons Brownfields Phase One Cleanup Process
07.11.07

The Seattle Washington based Environmental Consulting Company Zipper Zemen has begun Phase I Environmental Site Assessment of The Commons properties.

They’re currently investigating the records of 38 properties in the area designated for The Commons of Downtown Medford. By searching through the historical records of these properties, they will quickly evaluate the sites that have potential petroleum contamination.

Results of the Phase I Environmental Site Assessments will be posted on the Project Progress page when it becomes available.

This information is the first stage in the Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Brownfield testing and cleanup plan.
